Correspondence of Ronald Carey, entitled " Letters in the 30s"; printed leaflets and booklets respecting cycles and components, 1931-1963; printed programmes for annual sporting and cycling events in Southern England, 1932-1947, in some of which R. Carey competed; nine club journals, 1936-1955; a few maps and guides, etc., 1950s and undated.

Administrative / Biographical History

Carey's, of 72 Romsey Road, Shirley, Southampton, established in 1905, were lightweight cycle-builders and specialists and official repairers to the National Cyclists' Union.
