Bruce Dickins: Correspondence re Lt. Col Francis Tidy

Scope and Content

The principal part of the collection is comprised of correspondence of Bruce Dickins regarding Francis Tidy, 1941-1952, with a further letter from Captain (later Major-General) William Turnor of the 14th Regiment to J.P. Clarke Esq., dated 19 and 23 June 1815. The collection also includes reprints on the West Yorkshire Regiment and Tidy. Also includes black and white reproductions of a portrait of Tidy and a letter written from the field of Waterloo, 19 June 1815. Correspondence is to Bruce Dickens unless otherwise stated.
