Administrative / Biographical History

Cecil Alexander Naldrett Holden (1898-1919) was born at Solihull and educated at King Edward VI's Grammar School, Birmingham. As a Lieutenant, 2nd Battalion, Leinster Regiment / 1/22nd Punjabis Regiment, he served on the North-West Frontier of India and was killed in action at the capture of Spin Baldak in Afghanistan on 27 May 1919.
