Administrative / Biographical History

Rugby Divisional Labour Party which was operating in the 1920s became Rugby County Constituency Labour Party briefly in the 1950s and then Rugby Constituency Labour Party. The Constituency was responsible for the selection of parliamentary and local election candidates and the organisation of campaigns.

Arrangement

Most of the files have been retained in the order in which they were received, a small number have been rearranged.
