Watkinson Cuttings

Scope and Content

Largel a collection of cuttings taken from Irish and British newspapers, magazines, etc., largely on Irish political affairs, etc., particularly relating to the troubles in Northern Ireland, 1969-1989. Also some files of newspaper cuttings aboutthe history of Durham university, and also life in Durham generally in the later 20th century.

The collection was formed by Dr. C.D. Watkinson, formerly Deputy Librarian of Durham University Library.
