Administrative / Biographical History

Georges L'Homme, born at Lille in 1888, was a Sergeant in the 15th Regiment, French Artillery, 22nd Battery, serving on the Western Front. He was awarded the Mdaille Militaire and the Croix de Guerre. His pen-pal was Elaine Archer who was a Secretary in the War Office, 1915-1917, but spent the rest of the War in Switzerland because of poor health.
