An edition of the ballad 'Scottish Field' by Miss M.C.G. Hugon from the Percy and Lyme Hall manuscripts, 1903-4; including:

• a fair copy intended for the press
• drafts, transcripts and notes for the edition with photographs of the Lyme Hall manuscript
• and letters to Miss Hugon from Thomas Wodehouse Legh, 2nd Baron Newton, John Wesley Hales and Frederick York Powell.

Miss Marianne Ccile G. Hugon (fl 20th century), sometime scholar of Somerville College, Oxford.
