Catherine Anderson studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh in the 1920s. She went on to train as a midwife from 1926-1931. he was awarded the MBE in 1955.

Public access to these records is governed by the UK Data Protection Act 1998, the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and the latest version of the Scottish Government Records Management: NHS Code of Practice (Scotland).
