Willem Surenhuis: Praxeis ton hagion apostolon (Praelectiones in Acta Apostolorum)

Scope and Content

Autograph manuscript of lectures on the Greek text of the Acts of the Apostles, delivered as professor of Greek at the Amsterdam Athenaeum Illustre. There appear to be two cycles of topics (112 and 103 entries respectively), and notes about revision are variously dated 27 September 1716 and 1722. The style is similar to that of Surenhuis' 1713 Biblos katallages, but the content is not identical.
