Material collected by John and Mary Andrew relating to their friend Patric Dickinson, poet. Includes printed works published by Patric Dickinson, items of correspondence and obituaries of Dickinson.

Administrative / Biographical History

John Andrew met Patric Dickinson in 1939 when the former was a junior clerk working in the Admiralty. Both men lodged at the same London boarding house. John Andrew later became a fellow, then senior tutor, of St Catherine's College, Cambridge (Patric's old college). The two regularly kept in touch until Patric's death in 1994.
