James Timbs, Elizabeth Chard, Richard Browne and John Gooding are required to attend the quarter sessions at Ely on 12 January next bringing with them any papers concerning James Timbs, John Wade and John Gooding. The case in question is between the inhabitants of Doddington, Isle of Ely, appellants, and the inhabitants of Chatteris, appellees, the above-named being summoned to appear for the appellees. Signed and sealed by Thomas Cross, originally witnessed by Edward ?Parthenishe esq at Ely on 6 Oct 1747. The original subpoena was drawn up for Timbs, with the other names added later.
