Administrative / Biographical History
Arthur William MacMichael gained a BA from Tinity College, Cambridge in 1907 and was ordained a deacon in 1908. From there he held ever more senior posts including Associate Priest of Edmonton Mission, Alberta, 1914-1916 and Priest in Charge of Heliopolis Egypt 1923-1929. He then held various offices in Kent before finally becoming Canon Emeritus of Canterbury 1958-1960.
