Certifying that Richard Read gent, by the hands of John Gardner and in the presence of John Wright, has surrendered his copyhold tenement in Millfield, manor of Chatteris Ramsey, to the use of Joseph Read[e] and his heirs, and that the said Joseph may take possession. Copy of court roll, examined by Robert Clarke, steward; Malbon Carrill esq being lord of the manor. The court was held at the Bell and Chequer in Chatteris - John Cooper's house. Endorsed 'Joseph Read'.
