Scope and Content

Francis Towers of Wilburton sells to Haines Barlee for £160, three messuages in Wilburton (1) where Thos. Saunders lives, by the Towne house to the west, (2) the cottage where Walter Williamson lives on the east side, and (3) the messuage where Robert Parre lives with an orchard and close. Also a messuage with orchard and close adjoining, in the occupation of Nicholas Spenser, lying by the tenement of Charles Towers wherein Thomas Walter now dwelleth on the west and the tenement where Richard Watts now dwelleth on the east, with all the common and fenninge to the said messuages ... belonging. And F. Towers, his heirs shall from time to time within 7 years shall ... execute any further ... conveyances ... for the better assuring of the premises to H. Barlee & c. Signed by Francis Towers. No witnesses. Endorsed by Thomas Edwards, 15 Feb. 1650.
