Administrative / Biographical History

The national movement Merched y Wawr and the magazine Y Wawr were started by Zonia Bowen in 1967. It is a Welsh-speaking society for women, with over 250 local branches grouped into rhanbarthau (regions), including the Sir Benfro/Preseli a Deau Penfro (Pembrokeshire/Preseli and South Pembrokeshire) regions.
