Administrative / Biographical History

Part of the papers of Professor Hugh Clegg, born in 1920. Professor of Industrial Relations, Warwick University, 1967-79; member, Royal Commission on Trades Unions and Employers' Associations, 1965-68; Committee of enquiry into Port Transport Industry, 1964-65; Committee of Inquiry into Seaman's Dispute, 1966-67; National Board for Prices and Incomes, 1966-67; Committee of Inquiry into Local Authorities Manual Workers' Pay Dispute, 1970. Professor Clegg died in 1995.

This collection was deposited in the Centre by by J. Fletcher, University of Warwick Social Sciences department, in 1974. Later additions were made by M. Terry, in 1985; Professor Clegg, in 1986; and the National Board, in 1995.
