Administrative / Biographical History
Established in 1982 as the Gay London Police Monitoring Group, Galop is a UK-wide anti-violence and anti-abuse charity, which offers advice and support to people who have experienced biphobia, homophobia, transphobia, sexual violence or domestic abuse. The organisation also aims to support lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer people who have had problems with the police or have questions about the criminal justice system. It is an independent community-led group.
