Administrative / Biographical History
The Public Relations Service was established in 1986 to co-ordinate existing information and publications activities and strengthen the internal and external relations of the University. It brought together the existing offices of Information, Alumni Relations and Publications. In 1994, it was replaced by the External Affairs and Development Office.
External Affairs and Development was created in 1994. It replaced the Public Relations Service and the Development Office. In 2004, it was replaced by the Office of Marketing and Communications.
The Office of Marketing and Communications was created in 2004 to replace the External Affairs and Development Office. In 2010, it was replaced by Marketing and Development Services.
