Liberty, Parity and Justice at the Hull History Centre: Petition
Ronald Kidd, General Secretary of the National Council for Civil Liberties (NCCL, now Liberty) delivering a petition, 1937. Kidd (1889–1942) had founded the NCCL in 1934 after witnessing police attacks on peaceful hunger marchers.
