Gabriel (b 1932) and Joyce Kolko (fl 1955 - 1960)

Gabriel Kolko was born in Paterson, New Jersey, in the United States. He waseducated at Kent State and Wisconsin Universities. In 1955 he married JoyceManning. He was Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania from1964 until 1968, when he became Professor at the State University of NewYork, Buffalo. In 1970 he moved to York University at Toronto, Canada. In1986 he became Emeritus Distinguished Research Professor of History. Kolkowas also Fellow with the Guggenheim Foundation (1966 - 1967), theAmerican Council Learned Society (1971 - 1972).
