This collection consists of cuttings, publications and memorabilia relating to David Cassidy and members of his fan club.

Administrative / Biographical History

David Bruce Cassidy, born on 12 April 1950, is an American singer best known for his role in the musical sitcom The Partridge Family. He enjoyed further success as a solo artist in the 1970s including two number one singles. This collection was created by David Cassidy fan Kay Chesterman, who gathered contemporary artefacts relating to the singer during his period of chart success and beyond.

Conditions Governing Access

This collection is available for consultation in the V&A Department of Theatre & Performance's Reading Room, which is located at Blythe House, 23 Blythe Rd, Olympia, London, W14 0QX. The reading room is open Tuesday to Friday between 10.15 am and 4.30 pm, access is by appointment only. To request an appointment please email tmenquiries@vam.ac.uk or telephone 020 7942 2698.

Additionally access to some of these files may be restricted. These are identified at file level.
