Scope and Content

Collection of material documenting the work of English actor E. S. Willard.The collection, which has been built up over time, includes scripts, notes, programmes, correspondence and photographs relating to individual projects and productions.

Administrative / Biographical History

Willard documented his work in the theatre with photographs, scripts written by his wife Emily Waters (writing under the pen name ‘Rachel Penn’). He also kept volumes of press cuttings and several performance programs
