The Turnbulls, once of Soniddyhill and Stracathrow, Forfarshire, were cadets of the Berwick Horse.

This genealogical tree derives from that of Mrs Christie (Jean Turnbull) in 1842 and has been checked with the Sandeman Genealogy by Bryan Walker Turnbull, 1981, with New Zealand additions from the Turnbull family bible.
