Custodial History
The plans were found in a fireproof store in the Royal College building in April 1978. A note on the wrapping stated 'lent by W.W. Blackie'. This was the Glasgow publisher Walter W. Blackie, the owner of Hill House. Blackie was also a governor of the Glasgow and West of Scotland Technical College, an antecedent of the University of Strathclyde.
