Scope and Content

Research notes of Rev. Nefydd Hughes Cadfan for his M.A. thesis on the History and literature, beginnings and development of the Welsh Colony in Patagonia and a letter from Nefydd Hughes Cadfan to Derwyn Jones, former librarian of the University of Wales Bangor, 1967.

Also, a Welsh essay, Essential Conditions of Peace, by Rev. R. R. Jones of Treuddyn, entered for competition at the 1929 National Eisteddfod in Denbigh.

Administrative / Biographical History

Little biographical information was available regarding Rev. Nefydd Hughes Cadfan at time of compilation of description. The list of University of Wales graduates failed to reveal when he studied for his M.A. He married the daughter of Rev. R. R. Jones of Treuddyn, Flintshire and in 1967 he lived at Prion in Denbighshire.
