Eight letters addressed to George M. Ll. Davies from various correspondents in Ireland containing information regarding the extent of the agricultural co-operation movement in that country, the position of the Irish language in the Schools etc.

Photocopies of correspondence between Captain A. Stanley Davies, Rev. R. E. Morris and J. Alban Jones relating to the decision of George M. Ll. Davies to resign from the Calvinistic Methodists' Body.

Administrative / Biographical History

George M. Ll. Davies, 1880-1949, was a pacifist. Opposed to the First World War and conscription, he was imprisoned several times. He was also elected the Member of Parliament in 1923 for the University of Wales.
