Edwin Leslie Ricketts, born in 1891, was a Captain, later Major, 96th Berar Infantry and 19th Battalion, Hyderabad Regiment, serving in Mesopotamia, 1916-1920, and Waziristan, 1921-1924. He later became a Lieutenant Colonel.
