• Notebook containing extracts from printed works and notes on lectures relating to English literature, 1889-90
• Notebook containing verse by Nevinson, begun in 1891
• Literary papers, 1940-1, including a typescript draft of 'Thomas Hardy', published, London, 1941, and manuscript and typescript verse
• Personal papers, 1860-1935, including ten photographs, 1860-1935, and papers concerning presentations to Nevinson, 1918, 1933, 1935, with his passport, 1934
• Press cuttings, 1892-1942
• Papers relating to a memorial meeting to pay tribute to Nevinson, December 1941

Henry Woodd Nevinson (1856-1941) was an essayist, philanthropist and journalist. Details are given in the Dictionary of National Biography.

The papers were bequeathed to the Library by Nevinson's niece, Joan Sharp, in 1969.
