Administrative / Biographical History

John Dunkin (1782-1846) was a topographer. Ann Dunkin (d 1865), wife of John Dunkin, was the daughter of William Chapman (1749-1832), engineer.

The correspondence was bequeathed to the Library by G.J. Dew in 1931.
