• Sulivan family papers, including letters and drafts of letters, with accounts and papers of Laurence Sulivan, 1756-62, and verse by Stephen Sulivan, 1790-181

Laurence Sulivan (1713-1786) was director of the British East India Company. Details are given in the Dictionary of National Biography.

The papers were bought at Sotheby's in 1969.
