Diaries and notes of R.S. Herries, as a law student and a barrister, including many descriptions of travels, mainly in Great Britain, some in Europe, with the texts of two papers read to Eton (school) societies, on geology, 1880, and mathematical, mainly geometrical, problems.

R.S. Herries (1860-1941) was a law student at Cambridge, 1881-4, and a barrister in London, 1884-94.
