This volume was written as a sequel to H R Spencer's 'History of British Midwifery 1650-1800 by Senior Fellows of the RCOG as a gift to the College on its 25th Anniversary, and was edited by J Munro Kerr, R W Johnstone, and Miles Harris Phillips.
