Two case books compiled by Dr Lawrence Goldie as a student in the maternity department of St Mary's Hospitals for Women and Children, Manchester recording normal and abnormal deliveries attended by him, including details of antenatal record, delivery and postnatal examination, patient information, delivery of twins by breech and forceps, caesarean section, accidental haemorrhage, toxaemia, and termination of pregnancy for severe hypertension. Both books are signed by his supervisor.
