Scope and Content

Abstracts of cases in the several courts at Westminster. The volume is entitled Abstracts of Motions, Pleadings & Proceedings in the Severall Courts of Westminster together with many cases sett down at large as they were argued at the Barre by practicers of the Common Lawe & some of them by the Judges themselves, & some notes or memorandums of Causes in Equity collected in the years 70: 71: 72: 73: ['74: 74: (etc.) ... 83' has been subsequently added]. There is an alphabetical index of cases on pp. 375-380, and there is a more detailed index on a separate gathering loosely inserted between pp. 374-375.
