Contributing Workshops

We have face-to-face and remote workshops for our contributors and potential contributors.

  • Face-to-face workshops are in training rooms and offer hands-on experience
  • Remote workshops are offered through Zoom or a similar online platform and are shorter sessions.

Our data is in EAD format, but these sessions are not about EAD, and they are generally aimed at beginners or those needing a refresher on contributing.

In addition, we provide training videos on our YouTube channel.

If you can provide a venue with PCs, then we may be able to run a workshop at your institution.

Development and Innovation Days

We have run a number of days designed to update contributors on what the Archives Hub team are up to, with latest innovations and developments, sharing experience and explaining some of the challenges of data processing for an aggregator.
