      • The Bradford collections include records for local businesses and industries (such as the textile industry, co-operative societies, engineering firms and retailers); trade union records, many relating to the textile industry, along with employers’ organisations such as the Bradford Chamber of Commerce and the Wool Textile Manufacturers’ Federation; records of political parties, local political associations and politicians, including records of the Bradford Independent Labour Party and Bradford Conservative Club; and records relating to leisure time activities such as choral societies, the Alhambra Theatre, and Bradford Civic Playhouse.
