A volume of paper leaves (191 folios) in a vellum binding, containing the manuscript of an anonymous Spanish text, entitled 'Claridoro i Rosamira: poema mixto', dedicated 'Al antizipado ingenio i antevisto valor de Baltasar Carlos, Gran principe de Espanna i seor nostro', to the valour of Prince Baltasar Carlos of Spain, Prince of Asturias (1629-46). The text is a romantic work, largely in prose, divided into seven books, set on the island of Crete. The manuscript is a fair copy, written throughout by a single hand, but with emendations by several other hands.
