Yale and Hardcastle, chartered surveyors, were based in Caernarfon. From the late 19th century they acted as agents for many estates, and the Crown lands, in North Wales. The firm accumulated papers relating to lands in Caernarfonshire, including the Coed Helen, Llanberis, Glynllifon and Bodvan estates.
