Leaflet entitled German Plot. Citizens Beware referring to the arrest of Eamonn de Valera, Arthur Griffith and 71 other Sinn Fein political activists in May 1918 on suspicion of being involved in a German plot.

The Irish Republican group known as Sinn Fein was founded in 1902. Gerry Adams is the current president of Sinn Fein, elected in 1983.
