Scope and Content

Ff.1r-68v: transcriptions of poems, taken largely from the published Divine Hymns and Poems on Several Occasions, 1704 (Case 231), gathered in leaf endorsed "Divine poems &c by sundry hands"; ff.69r-74v: transcriptions of French poems; ff.75r-96v: further transcriptions of poems, mostly from Aaron Hill's The plain dealer and other periodicals; ff.97r-121v: autograph satires and epigrams in a single hand, with extensive revisions and deletions; ff.122-123: bifolium endorsed "Runick verses" with part of poem in Danish with autograph translation; ff.124-125: bifolium endorsed "Brother's", a fair copy of epilogue for unnamed comedy; ff.126r-130v: extracts from Baxter's "The whole duty of man" and from the Bible, with commentary.
