Original will of Robert Gelstropp, 13 September 1641. Bequeaths his house in Long Row, Nottingham, purchased from Richard Hurte, gent., and in the occupation of Lawrence Holland and widow Throne, to his son John, and the yearly rents and profits from the house to his wife Mary; provides legacies for his children Elizabeth, Robert and William, and for several (named) members of his family; appoints his wife Mary executrix of his will, and appoints as supervisors Richard Pendocke (brother in law), James Gellstrop (uncle) and George Barrett and Richard Porter (cousins). Will is signed 'Robert Gelstropp'; seal is inscribed with initials R.G. Signatures of witnesses: Richard Pendock, Edmund Winter, James Gellstropp, Geo. Barrett and Ric. Porter.
