SMALL WALLET made out of pieces of 18th century Customs bonds, enjoining, amongst others, Benjamin Fiske of Whitehaven and John Mends of Haverfordwest (1759) ; John Thomas of Haverfordwest and James Dubirlin of Haverfordwest (1765) and John Martin of the St. Andrew, Emsworth1 and George Sutton of Haverfordwest (1765) to produce certain goods to customs officers after landing at specified ports. Enclosed; undated letter to Master Thomas Mortimer from an elderly friend, who urges him to write further to her, and refers to her health. Paper is headed by words and music of "Woodman, spare that tree" [19th Century].
Also a fragment of old list of goods and commodities; at bottom, are visible the names "Thos. Rees" and "Milford". [19th Century].
