Administrative / Biographical History

Sir Robert Godfrey Llewellyn, born in South Wales in 1893 and educated at Osborne and Dartmouth, served with the RN (Royal Navy) until 1914. As a Lieutenant, 4th and 6th Cavalry Divisions, Montgomeryshire Yeomanry, and also attached to the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, he served in Egypt/Palestine, and was awarded the MC (Military Cross) in 1918.
