Administrative / Biographical History

The NUPPW was formed in 1914 from the National Amalgamated Society of Printers Warehousemen and Cutters (NASPWC) and the National Union of Paper Mill Workers (NUPMW). It merged with the National Union of Bookbinders and Machine Rulers to form the NUPBMRPW in 1921. This was known as the NUPBPW in 1928.
