Scope and Content

One MS volume, containing (?incomplete) copy of 'Kitab al-Mujarrabat' aka 'Fath-al-malik al-majid' by Al-Dayrabi (d1738/9), scribe and date of copying unknown [?20th c.]. This is a treatise on magic (printed many times, most recently in Cairo in the 1970s). Some marginal annotations are included.

Administrative / Biographical History

Ahmad ibn Umar al-Dayrabi (1651-1738) was an Egyptian legal scholar of the Shafi'i school, who taught at al-Alzhar.
