Collections by K.V. Elphinstone for a history of the Elphinstone family comprising:

  • K.V. Elphinstone The Elphinstones of Blytheswood and Lopness (privately printed, [1925])
  • carbon typescript copies, 1925, of documents mainly relating to Nicholas W. Elphinstone's claim in 1905 to the baronetcy of Sir William Elphinstone (d. 1645)
  • carbon typescript copies, 1828-9, of family documents of 1623-1742 and of wills, 1680-1802.

Kenneth Vaughan Elphinstone (1878-1963) was a colonial civil servant.
