This collection contains a First World War Christmas card. Coloured illustration of Edith Cavell on fabric. Underneath the picture reads 'Nurse Cavell Died gloriously October 13th 1915 - Dulce et decorum est pro patri mori'. Latin translation: "it is sweet and glorious to die for one's country". This had been kept as a souvenir by nurse Mary Veazey.
