Scope and Content

At a Court Baron of Sir Henry Peyton, Bt. at March, before Isaac Strong, gent., dep. steward of Pell Heigham, esq., chief steward. It is found that on 15 Oct. last John Waddington, esq., of Ely surrendered by William Iley and Eleanor York, 2 customary tenants marshlands in Dikemore...late in the tenures of John Drake and Edward Ross and now of Thos. Cole of Doddington...to the use of Thomas Cole, to which John Waddington was admitted in 1771. And T. Cole is admitted. Examined by Isaac Strong.
