Administrative / Biographical History

Sir Albert Gray (1850-1928) was the brother of Euphemia Chalmers Gray, who married John Ruskin in 1848 and Sir John Everett Millais in 1855. Details are given in Who Was Who.

Acquisition Information

The papers were bequeathed to the Library by Sir Albert Gray and received in 1938, on condition that they were not to be opened until 1968.
