For his homage and service, Richard son of Alexander de Langelee confirms his gift to Geoffrey de Glastingburi and to Geoffrey's wife Isabel, of a piece of ground in Windesor, lying between a tenement once belonging to Robert de Oppenore and Radulf Badde's tenement, and between Gropecontelane and the highway leading to the king's stable. To be held by Geoffrey, his heirs and assigns (save religious houses and Jews) of Richard, his heirs and assigns. Reserving annual quit-rent of 21d for all services except forinsec of the king. Witnessed by Ranulf de la Helde, Adam Paste, Alan de Lanihuthe, William Pugere, John Yngelard, Edmund Gardinarius, Robert Nel, and others. Pendant tagged green round seal of Richard de Langelee with scorpion/lamp device. Endorsed in a sixteenth-century hand: 'Richardus filius Rogeri [sic] de Langley dedit Galfredo / de Glastyngbury unam placiam terre cum pertinenciis / iuxta Gropecontelane et reddit dicto Rogero [sic] per / annum xxid. sine date'.
